These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the BeforeYouLeave app (“the app”), provided by iDev (“we”, “us”).
1. Licence
The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These Terms supplement the Standard EULA; if they conflict, the Standard EULA applies. By downloading or using the app you agree to both.
2. Using the app
You may use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service and applicable law. Please don't misuse the app, try to interfere with how it works, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
3. Your content
Information, photos and files you add remain yours. The app stores your content on your device, so you are responsible for keeping your device secure and for your own backups. We cannot recover content that is deleted from your device. See the Privacy Policy for how the app handles information.
4. Important notice about BeforeYouLeave
BeforeYouLeave offers suggestions and reminders to help you prepare, but it can't know everything you need. You remain responsible for checking travel documents, visa and entry requirements, bookings, medication and safety items. Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo.com (CC BY 4.0) and may be inaccurate; past-year weather is only a rough guide. Reminders depend on your device's notification settings and may not be delivered.
Third-party services
Weather information is provided by Open-Meteo.com under the CC BY 4.0 licence. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.
6. Price and purchases
Any price for the app or in-app features is shown on the App Store. Purchases, refunds and any subscriptions are handled by Apple under its terms; contact Apple for refund requests.
7. Updates and availability
We may update the app to add, change or remove features, and may stop offering it. We aim to keep the app working well but can't guarantee it will always be available or free from errors.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided “as is”, and our liability is limited, as set out in the Standard EULA and to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this address with its effective date. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
